We are delighted to announce our first Wordcraft Collective Writers Retreat, taking place on 4 to 6 April in a beautiful location about one hour from Brussels.
What's the plan?
The retreat will include workshops by Colette Victor and Emma Woodford, feedback and writing time as well as plenty of chances to chat with other writers. We will arrive on Friday afternoon/evening and take some time to chat and get to know each other before settling down for dinner.
The venue
The retreat will be held at Rosario on Poreel 10A, 1547 Bever. Bever is about 1 hour from Brussels by car and 1h30 with public transport.
Rosario is composed of two buildings, 100 meters apart.
Rosario main building
The main building has 6 rooms and the spaces where we will gather for workshops activities and meals. The building was a convent for an order of Francis de Sales, the patron saint of writers and journalists.
Surplace
Surplace has 7 rooms and a common area. The building has lived many lives, as a café, printing house and post office, before becoming Surplace, the poetry hotel. Each room is dedicated to a Belgian poet who has written there and written a poem for the room.
Prices
The price includes the full cost of the stay, including two breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners.
Members get a 50 Euro discount.
